01
Market Developments
Each issue opens with a focused view of global LNG market conditions, including pricing signals, spreads, and the macro forces shaping near-term balance. We highlight the structural shifts and implications that matter most for commercial decision-makers.
02
Commercial Developments
We track key contracting activity, offtake agreements, and demand signals shaping the next wave of LNG flows. The focus is on how commercial players are adjusting terms, flexibility, and portfolio positioning across an evolving market.
03
M&A Developments
LNG Pulse monitors the infrastructure transactions, strategic investments, and consolidation themes emerging across the global gas value chain. These deals often provide early signals on where institutional capital sees durable long-term value.
04
Shipping Developments
Each month includes a focused look at LNG freight dynamics, vessel availability, and charter rate volatility. Shipping is treated as a core strategic driver given its growing impact on delivered costs and arbitrage.
05

Japan Doubles Down on U.S. LNG While Traders Back U.S. FLNG Offtake
International Resources Holding (IRH) signed a 20-year deal with Delfin LNG and Vitol for the purchase and sale of 1.0 mtpa of LNG from Delfin’s U.S.-based export facility. Delfin supplies LNG on an FOB basis to Vitol as offtaker, with volumes then delivered to IRH’s trading arm. This triangular model demonstrates how trading houses continue to function as commercial “connective tissue,” bridging developers, end-buyers, and financing in ways that allow emerging projects to progress even when traditional utility-style offtake is slower to materialize.
